Join us for the 16th annual neighborhood stroll. This year’s stroll will include 15 independently-owned shops, each one offering pop ups, food, drink or other holiday festivities!

We will hosting locally-owned Jojo’s Raw Chocolate and The Half Cookie (each one will be offering free samples and selling sweet gifts) and also Paula from Off the Eaten Path Food Tours (a food and wine culture tour) who will be conducting a cheese tasting from Salumeria Italiana!

Stop by  Shake  (or any participating shop) to pick up your Postcard to get started on the stroll! If you get your postcard checked off at every shop, you can be entered to win an amazing Gift Basket containing $50 gift certificates from each shop!

Join us for The Paint Project Pop Up Trunk Show. Vermont based artist Meagan Hurd will be at the shop showcasing her clothing and home design! Spreading love and kindness, she donates a % of each sale to charities supporting human rights, women’s health, the environment, autism and mental health.

Just saw some purple crocuses popping up – a sure sign that Spring has arrived! We have SO MANY new brands to share with you! Stop by and say hello!

Still chilly outside but feeling like Spring in here! We have been happily restocking new clothing, jewelry, lots of candles, small batch tasty treats, cookbooks, ceramics, glassware, cocktail supplie, wall hangings,  and more!

We can now host 8 people in the shop and we are sticking to our sanitizing and distancing protocols to create a safe shopping space for all of you!

Yes, it’s been a strange and difficult year for small businesses. My heart goes out to so many local shops/restaurants that have closed. Local “mom and pop” stores and eateries are the backbone of any thriving neighborhood and I’m sending good wishes to all my friends and neighbors.

Shake has been doing just fine despite the changing landscape. We re-opened in mid-June and are happy to see so much local love and support. We are missing the tourists and the local office crowds for sure but I am forever grateful to the loyal customers that we have! It is YOU that keep us going.  We are fully restocked with beautiful autumn clothes and lots of new candles, cookbooks, cards, small batch goodies,  home decor, and more…Come visit!

It’s been a long three months of being closed due to Covid. We miss our customers and so appreciate the outpouring of support! We have kept ourselves busy during this time, shipping online orders, cleaning, updating displays, opening boxes of new candles, summer clothes etc…

We finally got the “thumbs up” from the Governor and will begin a very LIMITED opening this week. There are many new mandated requirements and we are working hard to create a safe and comfortable shopping experience.
